Have you ever been stuck in a new town with no knowledge of the locale? Have you ever wanted to go out of the hotel/hostel for the night but don't know where to go? Then read on!

This web site exits for the discerning traveller who wants to go friendly places but doesn't want to buy maps because they will only be there for a short period. (which will only lead them to touristy joints anyway!) The site was set up on a belief that real travellers liked to share with others the places and experiences that made a location the trip of a lifetime. We dont want to know about good sight seeing attractions or what was a bargain but what really worked on a personal level. We believe that no location/ place should be recommended if it had unfriendly staff no matter how cool it was.

Travel Without Maps will recommend venues across the globe for immersing yourself in the local community and culture, which we all know is the best and most fun way to meet people.
